Budding Artist Membership: you will be given a starting library of 223 tutorials, with a minimum of 1 brand new, complete video project added each week.

Aspiring Artist Membership: you will be given a starting library of 206 tutorials with a minimum of 1 new, complete video class added each week.

The Full Works Membership: exceptional value with all of the above! A starting library of 429 tutorials with a minimum of 2 new projects each week!

For every membership level:

• You'll receive a 10% discount on any ArtBase class or recording, including but not limited to weekly Zoom classes, after-school online classes and children's holiday workshops!
• We'll send you a monthly newsletter with details of upcoming classes and special offers!
• You'll also have an opportunity to request topics. We can't promise to do every single one but if we have enough interest, we'll incorporate your requests into new tutorials!

If you're just dipping your toe into the world of art, or have a child who is starting to take an interest, then we recommend our Budding Artist Membership. For people who are a little further along on their journey as an artist, we'd recommend the Aspiring Artist Membership. If you're a family that would like to try both, 'The Full Works' is what you need!

We didn't want to call the two main membership tiers 'Adults' and 'Children', because we recognise that some adults may want to start with with simpler projects, and some very keen children may feel that they'd like to try more detailed projects!

You can upgrade or downgrade your membership at any time from the Members page - just press the 'Members' button, either above or in the menu. If you're having any problems, just contact us and we'll sort it out for you.

As part of the joining process, you will create a username and password - this is what you will use to log in. Once you are logged in to the site, simply navigate to the 'Budding Artists Library' or 'Aspiring Artists Library' pages (depending on your membership), and all of your videos will be available for you to watch!

Upon logging in, you will automatically be redirected to either the Budding Artists or Aspiring Artists library depending on your membership.

As a rule of thumb, the 'Aspiring Artists' videos tend to be longer than the 'Budding Artists' videos, due to the more detailed nature of the classes. Videos in the 'Budding Artists' membership are usually around 40-45 minutes long, but there are longer and shorter classes as well. The videos in the 'Aspiring Artists' membership are usually around an hour in length.

We try to keep it as simple as possible for everybody! Pencils, rubber, art paper (we work on A3), paintbrushes, a watercolour palette and some ready-mix or acrylic paints. For very young artists, we would recommend ready-mix rather than acrylic paints as they are much easier to use - and also washable! If you would like some recommendations as to what to buy, please email us with your budget and we'll make some suggestions!

The classes are designed to be fun and engaging, so we have carefully selected topics that cover a broad range of subjects such as wildlife, landscapes, birds and portraiture to name a few. We also draw inspiration from a variety of artists and styles. If there's a topic you would particularly like us to include, please let us know and we'll do our best to incorporate it into the library!

All of our videos are presented in full HD to give you plenty of detail! Because of this, the file sizes involved are just too large to be offered as downloads, therefore they are only viewable as a stream on our website.

All the video content is created and filmed by Beth and Georgina, the founders of ArtBase. It's 100% us (with maybe the occasional barking dog in the background!).

Yes! We work with high-security payment gateways, and all of our transactions are processed through Stripe. We do not see or store your card information at any time.

Yes, but you can cancel at any time. You have full control of your subscription from your Account page.

Absolutely. You're not tied to any contract. If you would like to cancel, you can either visit your Account page or just let us know and we'll take care of it for you.

No, your membership is providing a subscription to the library - if you cancel, you'll no longer be able to view your video library. Think of it as being like Netflix for art!
